NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To celebrate Financial Literacy Week (April 9-13), the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) is partnering with the New York Stock Exchange Euronext to host a distinguished panel event, “Ensuring Consumers' Financial Success through Innovation and Technology.” Immediately following the panel discussion, CFSI’s Kimberly Gartner, Vice President of Advisory Services and Citi Foundation President and CEO Pam Flaherty will ring the closing bell.
Each year, NYSE Euronext celebrates Financial Literacy Week with a week-long series of partnership events and bell ringing ceremonies globally that highlight initiatives to help improve consumers’ financial capability.
CFSI President and CEO, Jennifer Tescher, will give opening remarks on financial capability followed by presentations on "Leveraging Technology to Promote Success" and "How Peer Supports, Social Commitments, and Incentives can Promote Success.”

CFSI supports and funds strategies and initiatives that provide Americans access to the financial products and educational tools they need to change their lives. CFSI manages the Financial Capability Innovation Fund, which to date has provided $1.5 million to five promising nonprofit-led projects designed to help consumers better manage their finances and achieve financial prosperity. The grantees are: Clarifi; Co-opportunity, Inc.; Filene Research Institute; Piggymojo; and Mission Asset Fund. A collaborative of funders led by the Citi Foundation and also including Bank of America, Capital One, Morgan Stanley, Experian, U.S. Bank, and Visa Inc. helped launch the Financial Capability Innovation Fund.
