NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hornblower Cruises & Events introduces a Mother’s Day scenic cruise in the New York Harbor aboard the Hornblower Hybrid. The new chic vessel will set sail for a two-hour brunch cruise at noon on Sunday, May 13, 2012 and a three-hour dinner cruise at 7 p.m., both featuring live entertainment. Boarding begins for the brunch cruise at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the dinner cruise, departing from Pier 40 at the Westside Highway and Houston St.
Eco-conscious moms and design enthusiasts can appreciate the Hybrid’s stunning architectural design and environmentally friendly elements including repurposed and recycled materials, recycled glass Vetrazzo countertops and low voltage LED mood lighting. The vessel’s oversized windows, viewing atrium and two outdoor sundecks also guarantee prime views of New York City’s stunning skyline.

The evening cruise features a complimentary rose for mom, a four-course meal and sparkling wine with dessert. Dinner starts with the chef’s selected amuse bouche and a starter of lobster bisque or baby greens. Entrée selections include petite filet mignon, seafood ravioli and honey-soy broiled wild salmon, topped off with a sweet ending dessert sampler.
