Yuet Ming Tham Joins Sidley Austin’s Hong Kong Office

HONG KONG--()--International law firm Sidley Austin is pleased to announce that Yuet Ming Tham has joined the firm’s Arbitration, Litigation and Regulatory Group as a partner in the Hong Kong office. Ms. Tham’s practice focuses on regulatory issues, governmental investigations and compliance, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical and medical device industry sector.

Managing Partner of Sidley’s Asia Pacific region, Thomas W. Ms. Tham’s regulatory and compliance work includes corporate investigations, compliance advisory work, anti-money laundering, sanctions and trade controls, environmental, health and safety and data privacy. She has represented, among others, major multinational financial businesses and transportation companies. For life sciences clients, she has advised on licensing, labeling and marketing regulations, as well as on a variety of commercial contract matters.

Ms. Tham is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesian and Malay. Admitted to the bars in Hong Kong, England & Wales, Singapore and New York, she earned her LL.B from Queen Mary, University of London.
