NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PineBridge Investments, (“PineBridge”) the global multi-asset class investment manager, is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has appointed David T. Jiang as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2012.
Mr. Jiang is a highly experienced investment management professional with an outstanding industry track record. He spent seven and a half years as CEO of the Asia-Pacific region for BNY Mellon Asset Management, during which time Mr. Jiang oversaw the development of a suite of solutions tailored to specific client needs in Japan, Asia and Australia. Under his leadership, the Asia business grew to US$50 billion of AuM in active strategies across Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives. As the Global Head of Passive, ETF, Beta, and Transition Management for BNY Mellon Asset Management, he added over US$100 billion of reported AuM, globally, in under a year and a half. While at BNY Mellon Corporation, Mr. Jiang also served as Co-Head of the Sovereign Advisory Board, overseeing the bank’s growth in sovereign wealth funds and central banks around the world. Previously, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Franklin Portfolio Associates.
Win J. Neuger has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and, effective March 1, 2012, will assume the role of Vice Chairman. In this capacity, he will work with sales and distribution teams across the firm to manage client relationships. He will also advise the Executive Committee on matters of firm strategy and management. Mr. Neuger will report to Mervyn Davies, Lord Davies of Abersoch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PineBridge.

David T. Further, at BNY Mellon Corporation, Mr. Jiang also served as Co-Head of the bank’s Sovereign Advisory Board, overseeing its growth in sovereign wealth funds and central banks around the world. Previously, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Franklin Portfolio Associates, where he managed over US$4 billion in US and International equity portfolios and over half a billion in long-short hedged portfolios. He has a unique international perspective, having held senior executive positions in Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, San Francisco and New York. Mr. Jiang earned his Master’s degree from Harvard University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
