FRANKFURT, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--When the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nürnberg opens its doors from February 1 – 6, 2012, 168 companies from Hong Kong will be taking part. Thereof 44 companies (2011: 40) will exhibit under the roof of the combined stand (G-01-1) organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in Hall 12.0.
Educational games, outdoor articles and eco-construction kits – visitors of the combined stand will find a wide range from classic toys to latest technology. Cheery Bond Development (H.K.) Limited (12.0-H-03-7) presents the classical hula hoop with modern motifs or glitter colours. Teddy bears like those from Take Me (Far East) Limited (12.0-H-04-7) are a must have for kids. “Olibär” and “Himbär” have been children’s favourites for long. They are amended by cases for crayons and paint-brushes showing the “Olibär”.
Amazing Toys Limited (12.0-G-03-10) offers educational, scientific and eco-friendly toys. The company presents the new construction kit “The Unbelievable Eco-Ten” with ten construction concepts varying from dinosaurs and vehicles to wind-operated LED. Out in the street is the right place for products of Nicer Industrial Limited (12.0-G-01-3). New is the “Scooter Doodle”. On the rear wheel there is a holder for marking chalk, leaving an own individual pattern on the ground.
Promoting music is the theme at Supersonics Electronics Company (12.0-H-03-2). The “Groovin” and “Rockin” guitars are supplied with headset, demo songs, sound and lighting effects and now also include LEDs. The range of Potex Toys Manufacturer Ltd (12.0-G-03-7) includes an electronic children’s drum kit with eight striking surfaces and 30 rhythm melodies.
From January to November 2011 Hong Kong’s toy industry reported exports of USD 9.5 billion (+ 3.4 per cent). Main export countries were China, followed by USA, Germany, Japan and UK. Imports into Hong Kong rose by 1.4 per cent to USD 8 billion.
