FRANKFURT, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Colourful office accessories, eco-friendly packaging solutions and decorations for every festive occasion, are indicative of the variety of products that Hong Kong companies will present in Frankfurt/Main from January 28 till 31, 2012. 86 exhibitors (2011: 110) will attend on two combined stands organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong Ltd.
Thereof 56 companies will showcase stationery products in halls 10.1 and 10.2. Scanpower International Limited (D41f) offers fancy paper products including sturdy furniture. “TIKO” from Wella Plastic Manufactory Limited (A31c) is indicative of smart office supplies: combined paper shredder/sharpener designed as hippo as well as banana-form sharpeners. Characters like Olibär or Himbär from Take Me (Far East) Limited (B41e) have been a big hit with children for long. The plush toys have been supplemented with a series of stationery and office supplies. Mass Profit Industrial Ltd. (D30c) offers experience books for children: The “Woof! Woof!” book tells the story of a puppy dog and gives it a voice. Hong Kong Dason Paper Products Co., Ltd. (B31c) uses holographic elements for gift packaging items, making it possible to achieve vivid pictures of different characters. Wah Yuen Stationary Company Limited (B40c) is presenting a large selection of coloured pencils and wax crayons in purist-style boxes.
From Christmas tree balls to lighting features - 30 exhibitors will cover a broad range at the combined stand in Hall 9.2 at Christmasworld. Colours are in demand this season: Pumy Industrial Ltd. (J10a) will present colourful fairy lights made of wickerwork. Sheric Trading Company Ltd. (H11b) offers Christmas decorations as well as delicate flower arrangements combined with different decoration materials. New are garden figures such as owls or squirrels.
In the first eleven months of 2011 Hong Kong recorded an export growth of decoration and seasonal articles of 11 per cent up to USD 2.1 million. Main customers were the USA, China, Japan and UK followed by Germany (USD 107.6 million / + 17.5 per cent).
Exports of paper and office materials rose by 2.9 per cent to USD 3.28 billion. The largest sales market was the USA, followed by China and UK. Germany ranked number six with sales of USD 116.18 million (+ 5.3 percent).
