HENDERSON, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Continuing its mission to educate tomorrow’s health care leaders, Roseman University of Health Sciences will present its 10th Annual Scholarship Gala on Saturday, May 12, at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. This year’s gala is themed “In the Year of the Dragon,” evoking the ambition and passion associated with the fifth and mightiest position of the Chinese Zodiac.
Bringing the theme to life, the ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will be adorned with traditional Year of the Dragon décor that will be complemented with music and performances to create an atmosphere befitting the greatest of Chinese holiday celebrations.
The soiree begins at 5:30 p.m. with a reception featuring fine wines and hors d’oeuvres. Following, a specially created dinner will feature a variety of Asian-fusion cuisine. Event tables and seats are now on sale. Corporate and philanthropic sponsorship opportunities are also available. Proceeds from the gala benefit student scholarships and services for Roseman University’s nursing, pharmacy and dental students.
At the gala, Roseman University will also present its Sixth Annual Champions of Health Care in Education Awards. This year’s honorees include Emily Neilson, general manager of 8 News Now, and Dr. David Steinberg, CEO of Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging.
