SAN DIEGO--()--Skylight Healthcare Systems, the leading provider of Interactive Patient Care systems, announced today that Scott Johnson has joined the company as its new Vice President of Sales. Scott has been instrumental in building successful sales organizations in both global healthcare enterprises and innovative, emerging companies. With over 18 years of healthcare experience in sales, marketing and business leadership, Scott brings a proven track record of helping companies grow and develop new markets.

Prior to joining Skylight, Scott held positions at CarePayment as Vice President of Sales, at A-Life Medical/A-Life Hospital (acquired by Ingenix) as Vice President of Sales and at Philips Healthcare as Director of Sales for Healthcare Informatics. He held a variety of other sales management positions within Philips and Hewlett-Packard’s Healthcare Solutions Group (acquired by Philips Medical Systems in 2001). Scott also worked in the clinical domain of radiology and cardiology and brings a strong understanding of the clinical environment along with his business background.
