Six Companies to Show Solutions Integrated with Audible Magic Technologies at CES

Additional Three Companies Commit to Partnerships with Audible Magic

2012 International CES

LOS GATOS, Calif.--()--Audible Magic, a longtime leader in automated content recognition (ACR) technologies and services, today announced that six different companies—all of which have integrated Audible Magic solutions into their products—will display and demonstrate these products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas between January 10 and 13. Three additional companies have also agreed to partner with Audible Magic for future offerings.

In addition, Audible Magic will provide demonstrations of its technologies at its exhibit located in the CES Eureka Park Tech Zone in the Bellini Ballroom of the Venetian Hotel at booth #73507.

The six companies that will demonstrate solutions featuring Audible Magic technology include:

  • Rovi Corporation, at Pompeian Ballroom at Caesars Palace
  • Related Content Database, Inc., at the Wynn Hotel
  • Specific Media, at the Encore Hotel
  • Miso, at Audible Magic’s exhibit at the Venetian
  • TrickPlay, at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel
  • Trident Microsystems, Inc., at the Alsace Ballroom in the Wynn Hotel

At its booth, Audible Magic will also provide demonstrations of its range of solutions. One of these, to be introduced at the conference, is the company’s just-announced Live TViD service. Capitalizing on Audible Magic’s patented digital-fingerprint ACR technology, this service identifies TV content in real time, even if it is live, never-before-seen, reality-based material.

The three companies that have agreed to partner with Audible Magic for future services include:

  • yap.TV
  • Accedo
  • O2C Hipermidia

yap.TV, a second-screen social TV platform, is currently integrating Audible Magic’s solutions into the latest version of its technology to be released later this calendar quarter. Accedo, a leading enabler of Smart TV and IPTV applications, has made Audible Magic its preferred partner for automated content recognition and will offer Audible Magic solutions as part of its portfolio of services. And O2C Hipermidia, Audible Magic’s latest ACR development partner located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will coordinate second screen technology integration efforts for Brazilian Digital TV shows, targeting the launch of its first ACR-enabled app this month for a major TV broadcaster.

A major consumer technology event for more than 40 years, the International Consumer Electronics Show is owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), a trade association, which promotes the growth of the $186 billion U.S. consumer technology industry and represents more than 2000 corporate members. This coming year’s CES is expected to feature more than 2700 exhibitors.
