DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Airlines is celebrating the new year with the launch of service on three new routes: Kansas City, Mo. (MCI)-Orlando, Fla. (MCO), Grand Rapids, Mich. (GRR)-Washington Reagan (DCA) and Madison, Wis. (MSN)-Washington Reagan (DCA).
Nonstop seasonal service between Kansas City and Orlando begins Jan. 5, 2012, and continues through April 15, 2012. The service will initially operate four days per week, then increase to six days per week beginning Feb. 23, 2012. Service will be provided on a mix of 99-seat Embraer 190 and 138-seat A319 aircraft, which both feature STRETCH seating with an additional 5 to 7 inches of legroom on every flight.
Additionally, Frontier will launch two new low-fare routes to Washington Reagan, with nonstop service from Grand Rapids beginning Jan. 4, 2012, and from Madison beginning Jan. 5, 2012. Service will be provided on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft, which feature STRETCH seating with an additional 5 to 7 inches of legroom on every flight and 24 channels of DirecTV® at every seat.
Introductory fares begin at $109* each way for the nonstop Kansas City-Orlando service and $79* each way for the nonstop Grand Rapids-Washington Reagan and Madison-Washington Reagan service. These fares are available at FrontierAirlines.com through Jan. 5, 2012, for travel through March 5, 2012.
Members of Frontier’s EarlyReturns frequent flyer program can earn double miles for every qualifying flight they take on the new nonstop routes through Feb. 29, 2012; travelers who purchase Classic Plus tickets and fly on the routes during the same time period will earn triple miles.
