TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McAfee Co., Ltd, the Japanese subsidiary of McAfee (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Jean-Claude Broido, hereinafter “McAfee”), announced it is teaming up with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation’s (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Tsutomu Ebe, hereinafter “NTT East”) East to provide technology to create a mobile security application that will be used on the “Hikari iFrame” tablet. This security technology is based on McAfee® Mobile Security software, a powerful mobile security suite that combines anti-malware, anti-theft and Web safety features.
Hikari iFrame is Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation’s original tablet device. The mobile security applications are designed to protect Hikari iFrame users from malware threats and illicit websites that try to steal personal and sensitive information. The service can be downloaded, starting this month, from the “FLET’s Market” when the consumer sets up their device.
