CDON Group AB: CDON Group launches Bodystore.de in Germany

CDON Group AB (STO:CDON), the leading e-commerce group in the Nordic region, today announced that it has expanded its Sport & Health segment through the launch of Bodystore.de in Germany. Bodystore.de is a German sister e-retailer to Swedish Gymgrossisten.com and offers a broad selection of nutritional supplements, fitness apparel and training equipment.

The launch of Bodystore.de on the German market is a response to the successful expansion of Gymgrossisten in the Nordic markets, which in addition to Gymgrossisten.com in Sweden also includes Gymgrossisten.no in Norway, Fitnesstukku.fi in Finland and Bodystore.dk in Denmark.

Bodystore.de offers a wide range of leading international brands, an additional range of German products and the introduction of Gymgrossisten’s private label Star Nutrition, which has a leading position in Scandinavia.

CDON Group's Sports & Health segment reported a sales growth of 32% year on year to SEK 280 million for the first nine months 2011, which reflected the ongoing investments in geographic expansion of the segment.
