WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PrismTech™, a global leader in standards-based, performance-critical middleware, today announced the launch of Spectra™ DTP4700, a next-generation Development and Test Platform (DTP) for Software Defined Radio (SDR) developers.
Spectra DTP4700 is the latest addition to PrismTech's Spectra DTP family of Radio Frequency (RF) capable Software Communications Architecture (SCA) development systems. Spectra DTP4700 is a wideband, high-performance, baseband and RF development and test platform capable of implementing and deploying the next-generation of complex SCA compliant networking waveforms required for military, homeland security and commercial SDRs.
Spectra DTP4700 is an optimized, small form-factor platform with low power consumption which is ideally suited to the Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) constraints of next generation Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) SDR environments.
The initial release of Spectra DTP4700 will include the latest Mistral AM/DM37x Texas Instruments Sitara based digital processing subsystem (GPP + DSP), running a Linux operating system with a fully integrated SCA software stack (SCA Core Framework, CORBA Middleware, SCA Platform, SCA Sample Waveform).
Spectra DTP4700 is fully supported by PrismTech’s market leading Spectra CX tool for SCA component modeling, code generation and compliance validation.
