ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Magnet Works, Ltd., a provider of indoor and outdoor home décor accessories, will launch their Focus on Local program in January to support small business retailers and their local communities.
The Focus on Local program includes 40 customizable designs by artist Patrick Reid O’Brien on BreezeArt® garden flags and MatMates™ interchangeable mats. Magnet Works retailers, primarily independent gift shops and garden centers, will be able to customize the decorative flags and mats with the name of their state, town, or favorite local destination.
“With retail giants like Amazon and Target in the mix, it’s impossible for specialty retailers to compete solely on price. That’s why we focus on keeping the special in specialty,” said Curt Todd, CEO of Magnet Works. “Patrick’s regional art combined with our localization program will give our retailers a truly unique product.”
In the spirit of the Focus on Local program, Magnet Works will print the localized flags and mats at their facility in St. Louis. “Local printing helps us better meet the needs of specialty retailers with customized product and keep jobs in our local community,” said Todd.
Magnet Works has also developed a Shop Local flag and doormat to help retailers support and encourage their community’s Shop Local efforts. This flag and mat will also be available to specialty retailers in January as a part of the Focus on Local program.
