WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Financial services company People Helping People (PHP) begins its third year in business by bringing in an individual experienced in compliance and securities and by registering with Ameritas Investment Corp. (AIC) to offer securities products.
PHP Founder Patrick Bet-David hired Chief Compliance Officer Amour Noubarentz to bring additional capabilities to PHP’s investment products portfolio and to maintain the highest standards of ethics and industry compliance.
“We wanted to expand into the securities space to offer our agents and clients a full spectrum of investment products,” said Bet-David, “Amour’s considerable experience in financial services marketing made him our top choice to ensure that PHP meets the highest standards of integrity in our mission to help families thrive.”
Noubarentz comes to PHP from a role in a similar capacity at World Group Securities Inc. Noubarentz immigrated to the U.S. in 1985. He has a B.S. in civil engineering and a master’s in environmental engineering from the University of Southern California and has worked in the insurance and financial services industry since 1999. In his previous position he was responsible for supervising hundreds of agents and representatives in multiple locations.
“There is already a strong leadership team at PHP,” said Noubarentz, “but I am pleased to see the priority that Patrick Bet-David places on bringing structure and compliance to the sale of investment and insurance products. I plan to grow our new relationship with Ameritas, and enable our associates to be full-service advisors to their clients.”
Working with Ameritas Investment Corp.
The addition of Noubarentz paves the way for PHP to move more aggressively into the securities market via its affiliation with AIC, a privately owned broker/dealer with a network of over 1,500 registered representatives and financial advisors nationwide. AIC retains over 40,000 customer accounts from three primary lines of business: brokerage, investment advisory, and municipal finance.
“One of the benefits of bringing in Amour, is that his vast experience in securities opens the door to our relationship with AIC,” said Bet-David. The new securities offering enhances the life insurance and annuities portfolio that PHP has focused on for the last two years.
Agents may now offer a range of new products and services to help clients achieve their individual financial goals. This includes mutual funds, stocks, 529 plans, variable insurance products, asset management programs, unit investment trusts, individual securities, retirement plans, alternative investments and an array of fixed income securities.
Salene Hitchcock-Gear, President and CEO, Ameritas Investment Corp. explains that AIC sees itself as a business partner rather than just a brokerage affiliate:
“We have over 25 years in the business with a team of seasoned, back office professionals,” said Hitchcock-Gear. “We are looking forward to giving licensed PHP agents the back-end support that empowers them to focus on serving their client’s specific needs.”
Securities and investment advisory services are offered through Ameritas Investment Corp. (AIC). Member FINRA/SIPC. AIC is not affiliated with PHP. Additional products and services may be available through associates of PHP that are not offered by AIC.
People Helping People (PHP) takes a non-traditional approach to financial services. PHP encourages personal empowerment and financial education for agents and clients. PHP agents earn income selling financial products and have the opportunity to create passive income by building their own associate network. PHP is celebrating its first two years in business with 250% growth year-over-year, and expansion into 33 states. www.myphpdream.com
