Horner Acquires First-Ever Harleysville National Bank Building

PHILADELPHIA--()--Jack Horner Communications Inc. (JHC) announced today it has purchased the first Harleysville National Bank building on Main Street in Harleysville, Pa. A top-ten Philly public relations and marketing agency, JHC will relocate current operations from King of Prussia to the historic Harleysville building in January 2012.

The two-story 11,381 square ft. building was Harleysville National Bank’s first location when the bank opened—102 years ago this week—on October 28, 1909. It’s located at 474 Main Street in the Village of Harleysville. JHC will spend three months renovating the space with Richard Kapusta and Company Architects and Planners.

“We fell in love with Montgomery County many years ago,” said Jack Horner, company president. “It’s great being surrounded with beautiful landscapes, yet being a short drive from Center City Philadelphia.”

The Harleysville National Bank property was previously owned by First Niagara, who also financed the transaction.

JHC has been in business for 20 years and employs approximately a dozen public relations, graphic design, advertising and promotional products professionals. JHC provides strategic public relations counsel and marketing communications programs for a variety of regional, national and international businesses.

The firm has earned seven Anvils, the highest honor from the Public Relations Society of America, and multiple Pepperpots Awards from PRSA/Philadelphia.
