CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wells Fargo Securities, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC), today announced that Cronin McTigue has joined the firm as head of Liquid Products Sales & Trading within Wells Fargo Securities’ Fixed Income group. Based in Charlotte, McTigue will focus on developing trading and distribution capabilities in liquid products, such as treasuries, swaps and options, for the firm’s institutional investing clients. He will jointly report to Tim Mullins, head of Fixed Income Trading, and Walter Dolhare, head of Fixed Income Sales for Wells Fargo Securities.

McTigue brings nearly 23 years of trading experience to his new position in Wells Fargo Securities. Since August 2010, McTigue traded U.S. Government Bonds at Citibank. Prior to that, he held several trading positions, most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he first led the Swaps Trading efforts and was later responsible for the U.S. Agency Desk. Prior to that, McTigue held several roles at Deutsche Bank, his last being Managing Director and head of the Swaps business. McTigue began his career at Chemical Bank in 1987 as an analyst on the Swaps Desk. He received his B.S. in business from Rutgers University and his M.B.A. in finance from New York University.
