[NYSE: JPM], announced today the winning food truck in the Eater’s Choice Awards presented by Chase SapphireSM Visa Signature® in partnership with Off the Grid, an organizer of street food events in the San Francisco Bay Area. Little Green Cyclo, maker of fresh, delicious Vietnamese street food, took home the top honors, which included a $5,000 customized truck makeover courtesy of Chase Sapphire Visa Signature, at the Eater’s Choice Awards event October 15 at Fort Mason Center.
Chase Sapphire Visa Signature also presented the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks with a $10,000 donation. From September 21 to October 5, Bay Area food truck fans voted online for their favorite of nearly 30 participating food trucks, with Chase Sapphire Visa Signature donating $1 for each vote cast up to $10,000 to the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks. After announcing the competition’s 7,300 votes, Chase Sapphire Visa Signature revealed an additional $2,700 donation bringing the total Food Bank donation to $10,000.
Chase Sapphire cardmembers received exclusive perks at the food truck fête, including early entrance to the event, an exclusive menu item at each food truck, VIP seating in a Chase Sapphire Lounge and exclusive meet-and-greets with food truck chef-owners.
