Corey Maita of Gainesville Coins Joins Spectrum Group International’s Teletrade as VP of Business Development

IRVINE, Calif.--()--Spectrum Group International, Inc. (SPGZ.pk) subsidiary, Teletrade, America's premier Internet auctioneer of certified coins and currency, announced today that Corey Maita, co-founder of Gainesville Coins, will be joining Teletrade as vice president of business development beginning in November.

Maita’s professional career in numismatics began when he was a sophomore at the University of Florida when he and two partners founded Gainesville Coins in Lutz, Fla. He also established international mint distributorships with the Perth Mint and New Zealand Mint. Maita will be relocating from Florida to be based at Teletrade’s Irvine, Calif., headquarters.

“Corey has a well established and proven record of success in numismatic e-commerce that will be instrumental in taking Teletrade’s services to the next level and beyond,” said Greg Roberts, CEO of Spectrum Group International, Inc. “Teletrade has experienced record success and expansion in recent years and we have exciting plans for the near future to bring more and better opportunities for buying and selling to our Teletrade customers.”
