PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--4G chipmaker Sequans Communications (NYSE:SQNS) has appointed Tim Newberg to the position of vice president of sales for the Americas. Newberg will establish and manage key accounts in the Americas and will contribute to Sequans’ worldwide sales strategy.
With more than 18 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry at Texas Instruments and Broadcom, Newberg has established himself as a proven business leader by developing strategic account plans, establishing key customer relationships and securing numerous design wins. At Texas Instruments he led a worldwide team of senior sales and marketing personnel in the wireless business unit to drive TI’s mobile operator strategy and relationships, which resulted in significant new business and revenue growth.
