ACG Detroit/FEI Meeting Tues, 10/25 to Examine Future of Jobs in Michigan with Carl Camden of Kelly Services, Inc.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich.--()--Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Detroit Chapter, a 300 member nonprofit business organization of merger and acquisition professionals, and Financial Executives International (FEI) will host a meeting 6 pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Oakland Hills Country Club, 3951 W. Maple Road, here, featuring Carl Camden, president and chief executive officer Kelly Services, Inc., Troy, MI.

Camden will discuss the employment challenge: redefining the future of work in Michigan as the U.S. faces ongoing talent shortages amidst persistently high unemployment. As those trends play out in Michigan, the state needs to diversify its industries and re-evaluate skill sets of its workforce. Camden will present his thoughts on how business, government, and education must work together to help Michigan succeed in the post recession landscape.

Camden regularly consults with executives of corporations around the world on labor trends and flexible workforce strategies. He is a member of the Business Roundtable and serves on Boards of the Committee for Economic Development and the Federal Reserve Bank.

Cost of the meeting is $50 for ACG and FEI members and $75 for non-members and will include hot hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, beer, and networking.
