NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nashville-based general contractor J.E. Crain & Son, Inc. has announced a new company name and added a company slogan that tells it like it is. The move is intended to communicate to owners, architects and developers across the Southeast what distinguishes the company from other construction firms.
Effective immediately, the company name has changed to Crain Construction, Inc. and the company tagline states: “Saying we’ll take care of you isn’t enough. Doing it is what counts.” The new identity emphasizes Crain’s integrity and commitment to its clients, subcontractors and employees.
“Changing our name and stating boldly what sets us apart from others are important during these challenging times for our industry,” said Michael Rankin, Crain Construction president. “We want it to be absolutely clear that we are responsive, honest and fair. ‘Doing it – taking care of you’ – also means we will stay abreast of our industry’s evolution to offer the very best services and we will take responsibility for all aspects of our work at all times,” Rankin said.
Since 1933, Rankin said, Crain has been demonstrating its expertise, integrity and commitment to excellence through work for clients across the Southeast. Many clients and subcontractors have done business with the firm for decades.
Crain’s branding partner, Fran Scott of Scott.Gardner Group, said the firm’s clients and long-time subcontractors repeatedly noted that this general contractor doesn’t say one thing and do another. “The new slogan reflects that and reassures clients, old and new, that Crain Construction is the real deal,” Scott said.
Crain shared its new identity with employees during a September 30 internal celebration and is launching it externally over the coming weeks via a revamped company website, new job site signage and hard hats proudly sporting the new tagline.
