NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Evercore Partners Inc. (NYSE: EVR) announced today that Tim Main has joined the firm’s Investment Banking business as a Senior Advisor. He will be based in New York and will focus on advising clients in the financial services industry.
Mr. Main most recently ran the North American Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at JPMorgan Chase and was Co-Head of the Global FIG Group. He held this position since 2001, during which time the group developed into one of the leading FIG investment banking franchises. Mr. Main advised on numerous financial institution M&A, restructuring and capital raising transactions for leading companies in the sector. His career at JPMorgan spanned 23 years. Prior to running FIG, he ran the firm’s Equity Capital Markets business.
