BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The World Economic Forum was held in Dalian from September 14 to 16, 2011, attended by 1,500 people from more than 90 regions and countries. Binquan Li, a Chinese music calligrapher, participated in the dinner party on the second day, exhibiting the charming calligraphy art to the domestic and overseas audience. Binquan Li dedicated his calligraphy to Davos, wishing the Summer Davos a success!
While the theme of this Davos forum is Mastering Growth Quality and Controlling Economic Structure, Binquan Li presented an ambitious line from a Chairman Mao poem, “For truly great men, we look to this age”, in his calligraphy. Did he indicate that China now is in the leading position of economy in the world and will head other countries into a high speed development pattern?
After the dinner party, there was a show of famous Chinese snacks. Foreigners were very pleased to tast these foods saving the trouble of going to the originating places.
