NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Goldman Sachs Asset Management today announced that Richard Quigley has joined the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group as Managing Director and Head of AIMS Advisory Solutions, based in New York. Quigley was previously a partner and global head of portfolio advisory at Albourne Partners, an investment consultant.
AIMS Advisory Solutions delivers timely and customized advice to investors on their hedge fund and private equity portfolios, complementing their own resources to help meet the objectives of their alternative investment programs. These advisory solutions include asset allocation and portfolio construction, manager sourcing and due diligence, risk management and reporting, ongoing portfolio and industry insights, and comprehensive diagnostics on existing hedge fund and private equity portfolios.
“Whether encouraged by the potential to enhance returns or mitigate risks, investors are increasingly exploring hedge funds and private equity as part of their investment programs,” observed Christopher Kojima, Global Head of the AIMS Group for Goldman Sachs Asset Management. “We are excited that Richard Quigley has joined our team, bringing our clients the benefit of his extensive advisory experience.”
“Comprehensive manager diligence, dynamic portfolio construction, and robust risk management are all essential ingredients for success,” commented Kojima. “Some investors have sufficient resources and expertise in these areas, while others may look to complement their internal capabilities with our solutions.
