NorthStar Moving Makes the Inc. 500|5000 List for the Fifth Year in a Row

NEW YORK--()--Inc. magazine today ranked NorthStar Moving® NO. 4,923 on its fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Online retailer ideeli tops this year’s list. NorthStar Moving, the leading eco-luxury mover in California, joins Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, Honest Tea, Dunkin Donuts and Metrokane, makers of the Rabbit corkscrew, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list. NorthStar Moving has now made the list for the fifth consecutive year in a row.

In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.

NorthStar Moving Corporation has redefined the moving industry as the first to offer eco-luxury moving services, elevating basic moving and storage services to a new unparalleled level of customer service, customized care, and environmental consciousness. NorthStar Moving provides special care to ensure valuables are well protected—from a green storage solution or customized full service moving, to eco-luxury service packages including partnerships with domestic recyclers to recycle old household items responsibly as well as professional organizers, home tech services, and even a partnership with Oprah’s dog trainer to make sure Fido’s move is stress free. Not only has NorthStar Moving made the Inc. 5000 list for five consecutive years, it has consistently earned countless awards from consumers for its outstanding service and third party awards from its employees for Best Place to Work. The award-winning company is proud to provide its eco-luxury service and totally green biodiesel fleet as well other environmental-friendly practices to its celebrity clientele and continues its rapid growth in the luxury moving market.

“Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is,” says magazine Editor Jane Berentson.
