With this partnership, Targus announced its plan to leverage the highly-integrated feature set provided by the DL-3900 chip and software platform.

The DisplayLink DL-3900, essentially a “dock on a chip”, uses USB 3.0 and DisplayLink’s adaptive compression to deliver SuperSpeed video—to multiple HD displays—at speeds up to 10x that of USB 2.0.
