Compass Minerals Announces Price Increase on Sulfate of Potash Specialty Fertilizer

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--()--Great Salt Lake Minerals Corp. and Big Quill Resources Inc., both subsidiaries of Compass Minerals (NYSE: CMP), will increase the price of all sulfate of potash specialty fertilizer products by $30 per short ton on orders shipped on or after October 1, 2011, or as contracts allow. This increase will apply to both standard and granulated products.
