PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--StanCorp Equities, Inc. ("The Standard"), a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: SFG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Wolfe as pension consultant for its Portland, Ore., Retirement Plans sales office. He will be responsible for retirement plan sales in Oregon, eastern Washington, central California and New Mexico.
Wolfe has worked in the retirement plan services industry for nearly 15 years. He has worked for The Standard since 2001 in a variety of retirement plans roles. Most recently, he served as a pension consultant in The Standard’s Phoenix Retirement Plans sales office. Prior to that, he worked as an account manager as well as an internal sales consultant in the Portland home office.

Wolfe is a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He holds the Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as the Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) from the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA), and the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). He also holds the Life, Health and Variable Products insurance license in various states.
