IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Local.com Corporation (NASDAQ:LOCM), a leading online local media company, today announced the appointment of Lori Chavez as the company’s new vice president of marketing.
Chavez will be responsible for leading and managing Local.com's brand and marketing initiatives, including marketing the company’s recently expanded product suite, which is designed to help local businesses drive online customers to their registers.
Chavez has more than 15 years of senior level strategic marketing experience and most recently worked as a consultant for Westfield, a leading shopping center company. In this role, she was responsible for developing and executing Westfield’s fashion brand program, including an innovative web-to-mall strategy to drive seasonal retail sales.
She also served as vice president of marketing for Jones Lang LaSalle, a global real estate and investment firm where she was responsible for leading the company’s consulting division’s strategic marketing efforts to drive increased revenue. Chavez also held key marketing leadership positions at Elementbars.com, an online custom energy bar company, and Equity Office Properties, a Fortune 500 commercial real estate firm.
