Michelle Pearlman Joins Irving Place Capital as Senior Advisor

NEW YORK--()--Irving Place Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, announced that it has appointed Michelle Pearlman as Senior Advisor. Ms. Pearlman has more than 20 years of experience in senior operational and management consulting roles for leading retail and consumer companies.

Prior to joining Irving Place Capital, Ms. Pearlman was with Sears Holding Corporation, where she was a Senior Vice President and President of the jewelry business unit. Previously, Ms. Pearlman was an Executive Vice President with Ann Taylor, Inc. At Ann Taylor, Ms. Pearlman was responsible for the company’s e-commerce and direct marketing businesses. Prior to Ann Taylor, she was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company.

At Irving Place Capital, Ms. Pearlman will work with the firm’s portfolio companies to help them with their consumer marketing, retail operations, merchandising, e-commerce, and digital and social media strategies.

Ms. Pearlman holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.A. degree from Stanford University. She was also named one of Crain's Chicago Business "40 under 40" in 2009.
