HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Safety Vision, a leading provider of mobile video and fleet automation solutions, today announced that it will honor all ICOP Digital, Inc. Standard (or Factory) Warranties, 15 months from date of purchase, for the ICOP Model 20/20-W and ICOP 20/20 VISION mobile video recording systems. Following the acquisition of the operating assets and business of ICOP months ago, Safety Vision has successfully completed the integration of logistics operations, training of sales and service personnel, and customer outreach programs. Feedback and new sales efforts with the existing ICOP customer base has been overwhelmingly positive.
“Safety Vision is pleased to announce the ICOP Warranty Rescue Program. This program allows previous ICOP customers with factory warranties the assurance that their investment in ICOP equipment is safe and that they will be covered in the unlikely event of any product issues,” said Bruce Smith, CEO and President of Safety Vision.
Some highlights of the program include:
- Safety Vision will honor all ICOP Standard Warranties from April 2010 and beyond
- Warranty applies only to ICOP Model 20/20-W and ICOP 20/20 VISION DVRs, including cameras, microphones, junction boxes and cables
- Customer need only provide proof of purchase date
- ICOP continues to offer a longer standard warranty of 15 months (versus 12 month industry average) on all new mobile video recorder product purchases
Commenting further on the Warranty Rescue Program plan, Smith added, “The ICOP product is extremely reliable, and while outstanding product issues remain very low, there has been some uncertainty about ongoing product support. This Program is intended to alleviate the concerns and regain the confidence of a handful of the customer base. We believe that such a great product should be backed by the strength of a great warranty!”
As Safety Vision continues to gain strong momentum in the law enforcement, military and homeland security fronts, further product enhancements can be expected as the company bolsters its engineering, quality assurance, and sales resources.
