LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jeff Mudgett, currently on tour promoting his harrowing, terrifying memoir BLOODSTAINS, detailing his discovery that his Great-Great Grandfather was the notorious serial killer H. H. Holmes, available for download on Amazon E-Books, has just uncovered, through research and handwriting analysis, the fact that his relation is Jack the Ripper, ending the 120 year-old mystery, and proving that the killer was an American surgeon from Chicago.
All evidence swirling around the most famous unsolved Jack the Ripper murders can finally be put to rest. While much of the known evidence might be considered circumstantial, it is compelling. For one thing, while his famous Murder Castle was being constructed, during the summer and fall of 1888, it is appears likely that Holmes might have sailed to Britain. Also, writing samples from Holmes' diaries and writing samples known to be from the hand of Jack the Ripper, have now been analyzed by a top expert at the British Library, who has determined that the samples match. BLOODSTAINS is now in multiple printings, as more readers are discovering this unique memoir by Mudgett. It involves not just an expose on one of the most infamous killers to ever have existed, but more importantly what happens when an average American uncovers family secrets that lead to the conclusion that his Great-Great Grandfather was the notorious monster Dr. H.H. Holmes who terrorized American shores and beyond. Mudgett peels away the layers of his family history’s onion to come to grips with the darkest of secrets. With impeccable prose, and research, Mudgett treats the reader to a true literary mystery that will leave one breathless, and solves one of the greatest mysteries of all time.
