PISCATAWAY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Rutgers Center for Management Development (CMD) today announced that it is offering three short courses for busy professionals who are thinking about participating in the CMD Mini-MBA program. Mobile Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Web Analytics short courses will be taught on three separate evenings for four hours each, beginning this fall. Students can sign up separately for each course, which will be taught by an industry expert.

About the Mobile Marketing Short Course
The Mobile Marketing course will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 5:30 to 9:30pm. Taught by industry expert Christina “CK” Kerley, the course provides an overview of mobile websites and applications with guidance on best practices for optimizing content for mobile environments. It also reviews the characteristics that make mobile websites successful at converting traffic to buyers.
About the Social Media Marketing Short Course
The Social Media Marketing course, held Monday, November 7, 2011 from 5:30 to 9:30pm, will be taught by Mark Schaefer, known best for his popular book, “The Tao of Twitter.” This course gives students a roadmap for navigating social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. It addresses how to integrate social media into an overall marketing plan, how to measure and track the results of using social media and other social media topics.
About the Web Analytics Short Course
The Web Analytics course, scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 5:30 to 9:30pm, teaches students how to stay ahead of the competition by understanding key performance data. Taught by Matt Bailey, a web analytics expert, the course describes best practices on how to plan, create and implement a digital marketing campaign and how to use multi-channel analytics to efficiently allocate marketing budgets.
Mobile Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Web Analytics short courses will be held on the Rutgers CMD campus in Piscataway, NJ. The fee for each course is $595.
