Dirk A. ten Grotenhuis Joins First Republic Bank

Senior Banker Further Expands Bank’s Capabilities For Nonprofits

SAN FRANCISCO--()--First Republic Bank, a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that Dirk A. ten Grotenhuis, who has more than 20 years of financial services experience, has joined First Republic as Managing Director.

Located at the bank’s office at 111 Pine Street in San Francisco, ten Grotenhuis will serve First Republic’s growing number of nonprofit clients, which includes private schools, museums, performing arts groups and other nonprofit community service organizations.

The addition of ten Grotenhuis further strengthens the bank’s ability to serve an important market segment that has been a growth area for the bank. First Republic, which has a long-standing commitment to serving nonprofits on the East and West coasts, is devoting more resources to nonprofit organizations to fulfill the growing demand for its services.

For business banking clients such as nonprofit organizations, First Republic offers lending services, deposit services, foreign exchange, letters of credit, online banking, as well as brokerage, securities custody, cash management and investment management for endowments. Each of these services is customized to the specific needs of clients.

Prior to joining First Republic, ten Grotenhuis worked for Stone & Youngberg, LLC, a San Francisco fixed-income investment banking firm specializing in public agencies and nonprofit organizations. He worked for the firm for 17 years, most recently as Managing Director. Prior to that, ten Grotenhuis worked for Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York and San Francisco. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley, Hass School of Business.
