WHAT: Berklee College of Music’s Summer in the City series features over 80 free outdoor concerts throughout the Boston area from May through September. WHY: Elbert is known for her strong melodies, vocals with intricate guitar work, and a recent soulful rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” which accumulated over 300,000 YouTube views. A Berklee alum, 22-year-old Elbert is already a veteran of the stage, recently releasing Proof, her second album of original music.
