BERWYN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TruePosition, Inc., a provider of wireless location technologies and solutions and a subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation, today announced a five year non exclusive extension to its contract with AT&T for the supply of high accuracy TruePosition Uplink Time Difference of Arrival (U-TDOA) technology and services in support of their wireless Enhanced 9-1-1 (E9-1-1) solution. With this agreement in place, TruePosition will continue to support AT&T’s wireless E9-1-1 solution as AT&T evolves its wireless technology with a UMTS based E9-1-1 solution.

TruePosition’s U-TDOA network-based location technology meets the strict Phase II performance requirements developed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as part of their E9-1-1 Mandate.
