SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With more than $3.9 billion deposited by its members in less than two years using smartphones, USAA’s Deposit@Mobile® app now is available on iPad 2 – enabling qualified USAA members to deposit checks from multiple platforms using remote deposit capture (RDC) technology.
Being able to deposit a check will enhance the USAA App for iPad®, which already provides USAA members the ability to manage a wide range of financial transactions including: paying bills, transferring funds, placing trades, getting stock quotes and viewing their USAA insurance policies. Members also can add or replace a car on their existing USAA insurance policy and request an auto insurance ID card. In addition, the app provides financial content in the form of stories and videos customized for an optimal iPad experience.
As the first provider to make check deposits possible by using RDC technology, USAA now enables qualified members to deposit money through their preferred channel including from home via a scanner (Deposit@Home®), via mobile devices including iPhone® and AndroidTM (Deposit@Mobile®), and more recently in the retail environment through USAA Easy Deposit at 2,000 The UPS Store® locations.
