WATERBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Building on its very successful Online MBA Degree Program, Post University will now offer a weekend MBA program on its Waterbury, Conn., campus.
The program will include on-campus Saturday instruction that is supported by online collaboration and technical support. Students will meet for six hours on alternate Saturdays during each eight-week course.
“Through this new program, we can offer students who prefer a face-to-face learning environment the collegial interaction and networking opportunities they want and still provide the flexibility they need,” said Don Mroz, Ph.D., Dean of the Post University School of Business, who has played a key role in the development of the University’s MBA program.
The highly interactive, practice-based program is a part of the Post University School of Business and is led by professors who not only have advanced degrees, but are seasoned business innovators and experts at combining theory and practice. The program includes a unique focus on innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship for the purpose of helping business professionals develop new growth and success for their organizations. It is specifically designed to meet the needs of adults who are looking to advance their careers while juggling work, family, and other commitments.
In 2007, Post University launched the first completely online MBA degree program in Connecticut. In 2009, the program was one of the recipients of a prestigious Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Silver Innovation Prize.
In a recent survey of graduates, nearly 90 percent of MBA students said they would recommend the program to friends or colleagues, and nearly 90 percent said the program helped them acquire the functional business knowledge they need to be successful at new ventures and/or corporate innovation.
