OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Infogroup, the leading provider of targeted high-value sales and marketing data, global research, market intelligence and innovative digital engagement solutions, today announced that Gretchen Littlefield has been named to the Direct Marketing Association Nonprofit Federation’s (DMANF) Advisory Council for the 2011-2013 term that begins July 1. Ms. Littlefield is the only incoming member from the private sector.
“I am honored to serve on the DMANF’s Advisory Council and help them address the issues impacting the nonprofit sector and the direct-response fundraising community,” said Ms. Littlefield. “Working with such an esteemed group of colleagues, I am confident we can face the industry’s challenges and continue to demonstrate the vital role nonprofits play in our economy.”
In addition to serving a two year term, Ms. Littlefield will become Co-Chair of DMANF’s Government Affairs Committee. In this capacity, she will serve as an advocate for nonprofits on Capitol Hill and advance the legislative interests of the fundraising community.
The DMANF is the leading association for nonprofit organizations that use direct marketing channels such as mail, Internet, email, telephone, and social networking to gain support from individual donors. It serves as an advocate for nonprofits in Washington, DC as well as in all 50 states on issues such as postal rates and delivery service, privacy & data protection, fundraising accountability, and other legislative and regulatory matters that affect nonprofits raising money from the public. The Direct Marketing Association is the leading global trade association of businesses and nonprofit organizations using and supporting multichannel direct marketing tools and techniques.
Ms. Littlefield drives the overall management, strategic planning, and growth of Infogroup’s offerings to the nonprofit, political and federal government sectors. She joined the company in March of 2006 as executive vice president of Infogroup-owned Triplex, a data processing division focused exclusively on the nonprofit vertical. In 2008, she was promoted to president of Triplex, and, after the Triplex name was retired in 2010, she assumed responsibility for all of Infogroup’s nonprofit offerings. Prior to joining Infogroup, Littlefield launched the fundraising program for America Coming Together, which raised over $80 million in two years, becoming the largest political action committee in the country.
Littlefield’s professional achievements include being named DMEF Rising Star by the Direct Marketing Association and, in 2010, serving as co-chair of the DMA Nonprofit Federation Annual Conference.
