Philly for Less: Philadelphia CityPASS Saves Nearly Half Off Admission to the City of Brotherly Love’s Top Attractions

PHILADELPHIA--()--With Philadelphia CityPASS, a summer getaway to the City of Brotherly Love equals less fuss, big savings, and a whole lot of fun. Each Philadelphia CityPASS ticket booklet contains prepaid admission to The Franklin Institute, Adventure Aquarium, Phila Trolley Works Tour & The Big Bus Company and the Philadelphia Zoo. In addition, visitors can use two option tickets to choose between the Please Touch Museum and Eastern State Penitentiary; and either The Academy of Natural Sciences or the National Constitution Center.

Visitors who use Philadelphia CityPASS bypass most main-entrance ticket lines and save 47 percent off the cost of purchasing individual tickets to the included attractions. An adult Philadelphia CityPASS ticket booklet costs $59 (a value of $110.90); $39 for children, 2-12 (a value of $81.20). For adults, that means saving enough dough to cover the cost of seven Philly cheesesteak sandwiches at Jim’s Steaks.

The fascinating Franklin Institute is named for one of America’s most brilliant founding fathers: Benjamin Franklin. Home to popular and thought-provoking permanent exhibits, as well as blockbuster traveling exhibitions, this is the most visited museum in Pennsylvania.

At America’s Most Touchable Aquarium, Adventure Aquarium on the Camden Waterfront, visitors can roll up their sleeves to touch and hand-feed stingrays at Stingray Beach Club, the aquarium’s newest exhibit.

Other not-to-be-missed Philly highlights include the PECO Primate Reserve at the Philadelphia Zoo; Please Touch Museum’s life-sized, 40-foot replica of the Statue of Liberty's arm and torch, constructed entirely from salvaged toys, games and other found items; and the imposing residents of Dinosaur Hall at The Academy of Natural Sciences.
