ParAccel Joins the NYSE Technologies Data Partner Program and Releases Utility to Deliver Unprecedented Integration of Market Data

Company to Demonstrate Breakthrough High Performance Analytics on NYSE Technologies’ Data Products at the Upcoming SIFMA Conference

CAMPBELL, Calif.--()--ParAccel, Inc., provider of the world’s leading analytic platform, today announced that it has joined the NYSE Technologies Market Data Partner Program and released a utility that makes it significantly easier to conduct breakthrough analysis on market data generated by NYSE Technologies, a division of NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX). ParAccel is demonstrating its advanced analytic capabilities on NYSE Technologies market data at SIFMA’s Financial Services Technology Leaders Forum, being held this week in New York City from June 14-16.

Trade data volumes continue to grow at breakneck speeds, driven by increasingly complex trading strategies that use highly sophisticated automated trading systems. For financial institutions to maintain competitive advantage in capital markets, they must be able to scale their analysis faster than their data growth rates. These firms are starting to recognize that their traditional analytic solutions will not keep pace with the new generation of extreme analytic requirements.

“Firms trading in markets around the world rely on NYSE Technologies to deliver market data quickly and efficiently to help them optimize trading strategies across multiple exchanges and asset classes,” said Seth Payne, Historical Data Product Manager at NYSE Technologies. “The ParAccel platform is another way we are helping customers better execute their business transactions by rapidly integrating critical data into their analytic platform.”

A number of the world’s largest financial institutions have turned to the ParAccel Analytic Database (PADB) to power their business. The release of the ParAccel Integration Utility makes it even easier for new and existing customers to more easily leverage the massive amounts of financial data available through NYSE Technologies’ global data products. Leveraging analytic integration capabilities released recently in PADB 3.1 , the utility loads and transforms NYSE Technologies Daily TAQ, OpenBook, and ArcaBook historical data sets at unprecedented speeds directly into ParAccel’s analytic platform. Complex analysis, such as back testing of trading strategies, can be immediately executed without delay, avoiding the need for a manual, cumbersome process to obtain, pre-process and manually load the information.

“It is important that analytic platforms be able to support not only huge amounts of data but the widest range of data sources,” said Barry Zane, founder and CTO. “Our integration with NYSE Technologies illustrates our commitment to delivering these capabilities to our customers in a wide range of industries.”

The ParAccel Integration Utility is available immediately for NYSE Technologies’ Daily TAQ, ArcaBook and OpenBook historical data sets. ParAccel is also planning to release interface utilities for additional NYSE Technologies data feeds and financial market data solutions.

ParAccel will be demonstrating high performance analytics on NYSE Technologies data at Booth #2503 at the SIFMA Financial Services Technology Leaders Forum. To schedule an appointment in advance, contact ParAccel at 866-903-0335 or email info@paraccel.com.
