Active Endpoints Hires Rich Noyes as New Vice President of Sales

Aggressive Investment in R&D by BPM Leader Continues to Attract Top Quality Talent

WALTHAM, Mass.--()--Active Endpoints, Inc., the process automation company that lets you deliver software your business really wants, today announced that Rich Noyes has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. Rich brings a wealth of enterprise software sales experience for a broad range of technologies. Prior to Active Endpoints, Rich ran inside sales for dynaTrace, the leader in application performance management (APM). Rich has also held sales positions at Macromedia, Allaire, Sybase and Powersoft.

Active Endpoints continues to show significant traction, validating that customers desire and seek alternatives to traditional, complex and expensive business process management systems (BPMS). The company’s revenues grew over 100% in 2010 compared to 2009. In addition, the customer base continues to expand across all geographies and industries, including telecommunications, media and entertainment, public sector and financial services/insurance.

Rich joins a seasoned management team with significant technical depth and breadth at Active Endpoints:

Mark Taber, CEO, has more than 25 years of experience driving sales and operations results for technology companies. He was previously IBM’s Worldwide Business Unit Executive for their SOA Appliance Division, and held sales executive positions at DataPower (acquired by IBM), AEP, Chrysalis-ITS and Toshiba.

Chris Keller, Founder and Vice President, Product Development, has founded three technology companies, and held executive level development positions at Novell, GemLogic, Inc. (acquired Novell/SilverStream) and LexiBridge (acquired by Level3 Communications).

Eric Egertson, Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Accounts, is an experienced sales executive with technology companies. Prior to Active Endpoints, he was Vice President, Sales at DataDirect (an operating company of Progress Software) and has held sales and marketing management positions at MERANT and INTERSOLV.

John Cingari, CMO, brings to Active Endpoints 25 years of experience leading marketing organizations at both emerging growth and large enterprise software companies. Prior to Active Endpoints, John was CMO at Compiere, an enterprise software company based on open source and cloud computing technology and held executive marketing positions at OutlookSoft and Oracle.

Michael Rowley, Ph.D., CTO, is a leading author, speaker and technologist in SOA and BPM software. He was an architect and part of the office of the CTO at BEA (acquired by Oracle). He was a contributor on the BPMN 2.0 specification and is an editor of the BPEL4People and WS-HumanTask specifications.

Luc Clément, VP, Technical Services, has held product management positions at HP and Systinet (acquired by HP/Mercury Interactive), Microsoft and Zoomit (acquired by Microsoft). Luc drove HP’s product strategy for SOA governance products and market entry.

Tyler Drolet, CFO, has more than 25 years of experience driving finance, operations, strategy and capital formation for high growth technology companies. He was previously CFO, Treasurer and Secretary of BlueShift Technologies, a semiconductor systems and automation company and has held finance executive positions at Groove Networks (acquired by Microsoft) and Adero.
