PINEHURST, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Perfusion Care, Inc., (APC) the second largest provider of perfusion and autotransfusion services, announced today that it had completed the sale of the company to SpecialtyCare, the largest provider of outsourced clinical services in the nation. APC presently serves eighteen hospitals in six states and the District of Columbia and supports more than 8,000 open heart and autotransfusion cases. With the addition of APC, SpecialtyCare will provide clinical services to more than 545 hospitals including perfusion services to over 180 open heart surgery programs.
