Award-Winning Web Comedy Series ‘Agents of Cracked’ Begins Its Highly Anticipated Third Season on Cracked.com

Season Premiere, Featuring Commentary and Live Chat with the Series’ Stars

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--()--The wait is almost over for fans of the award-winning web comedy series ‘Agents of Cracked,’ which returns for its highly anticipated third season on Cracked.com—a Demand Media (NYSE: DMD) property and the #1 most visited humor website. The ‘Agents of Cracked’ Season Three premiere airs on June 6 at 11:00AM ET / 8:00AM PT, and will be quickly followed by a hilarious live chat with its stars and co-creators Michael Swaim and Daniel O’Brien alongside series creator Abe Epperson. A total of 10 episodes have been confirmed to stream on Cracked.com, with an “Easter egg” bonus, that will include behind the scenes commentary, packaged for the season debut. Cracked fans who hope to find the “egg” would be wise to get some target practice.

“The third season of ‘Agents of Cracked’ will pack a punch with an entertaining mix of revelations, heists, magic, mayhem, hot air balloon rides, special guest stars, and the ultimate destiny of our two hapless heroes,” said Michael Swaim. Daniel O’Brien commented, “Hilarity ensues when our characters get together, from things catching on fire to epic guitar solos, plus in one episode Michael eats an entire fistful of butter. We really went all out with AOC 3.0, and we think that dynamic and exciting cinematography of director Abe Epperson coupled with the ridiculous adventures of our clueless main characters will really please our fans and, just maybe, the whole world.”

Cracked.com’s first original series, ‘Agents of Cracked,’ created by Abe Epperson along with Daniel O'Brien and Michael Swaim, won the Audience Choice Streamy Award in 2010. The show’s first two seasons of escapades have racked up over 7 million streams online. Each episode follows Cracked.com “agents” Mike and Daniel, as they face a series of outrageous misadventures. The season three premiere finds them once again at their usual spot—drinking Jameson on the balcony of the Cracked offices. This time it’s because Daniel is reeling from his apparent breakup with Mandy (and because Mike likes Jameson.) From there, the boys get mixed up at a local dive bar when they try and make meaningful love connections, or so they think.

“‘Agents of Cracked’ Season Three continues to take the series in side-splitting and unexpected directions, while delivering more of the Cracked.com signature screenwriting and performances that made the first two seasons so wildly popular,” said Oren Katzeff, vice president and general manager of Cracked.com. “We’re very excited to launch the third season with an interactive approach, allowing fans of the series to get Dan and Michael’s personal thoughts on the show.”

Cracked.com is one of the largest comedy brands online with over 1 billion page views in 2010, according to comScore, and continues to draw attention from notable celebrity and media critics with its witty informative lists on pop culture.
