BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--()--School of the Legends sat down with veteran running backs Ray Rice, Maurice Jones Drew, and Ahmad Bradshaw at the NFLPA Rookie Debut in New York City as the three offered their advice to recently drafted rookies. Rice, who has been a force on the Baltimore Ravens offense, counsels, “Be patient. Your time will come” and reminds rookies to “respect the game.”

Jacksonville Jaguars star Jones Drew opens up to SOTL about his own experiences and communicates to newcomers that it is “not about what you do on the field…it’s about how you prepare yourself off the field…it’s how you carry yourself off the field.”

Bradshaw, starter for the New York Giants, chimes in with a warning: “watch out for the cold tub!” Jokes aside, the veterans express an overall message that patience, respect, and good decision making are key ingredients to a successful career in the NFL. As three of the top athletes in their position, Rice, Jones Drew and Bradshaw are ideal spokesmen in this unique piece.
