Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Continues to Expand Its High Yield and Distressed Team with Key New Hires

NEW YORK--()--Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. announced today its continued expansion into the Fixed Income, High Yield & Leveraged Finance market with the additions of seasoned veterans Matthew Zolin, Lori Samuels and Erin Andrews. Mr. Zolin, Ms. Samuels and Ms. Andrews all join the firm from Chapdelaine Credit Partners. Mr. Zolin who has been named Managing Director of High Yield Trading and Ms. Samuels who has been named Managing Director of Credit Product will report to Adam Vengrow, Head of Credit Sales and Trading. Ms. Andrews who joins as a senior loan trader will report into Michael Nitka, Head of the Bank Debt Group.

Mr. Zolin served as Managing Director of Institutional High Yield and Distressed Credit Sales at Chapdelaine Credit Partners, where he was responsible for servicing institutional clients for primarily distressed, high yield and bank loans. Prior to that, he served as Director and Portfolio Manager for SG Asset Management, where he launched an event driven credit and equity fund, and managed and invested the majority of the funds capital in credit strategies. Mr. Zolin also served as Director of Credit Portfolio and Manager at Saranac Capital/ Citigroup Alternative Investments, as Vice President of High Yield Corporate Fixed Income Research at Lehman Brothers and Director of High Yield Corporate Fixed Income Research at SG Cowen Securities Corp. He also held associate positions at NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. and Bankers Trust Securities Corporation. Mr. Zolin has a B.A. in Political Economy from Williams College, an M.S. in Accounting and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from New York University.

Ms. Samuels was a Managing Director of Chapdelaine Credit Partners where she focused on Investment Grade, High Yield, and Distressed bonds and loan sales globally. Prior to that, she worked in Credit Sales at Miller Tabak Roberts Securities where she specialized in distribution of investment grade, high yield and emerging markets bonds. Ms. Samuels did spend the majority of her career at UBS Securities serving as an Executive Director in Fixed Income Division covering financial institutions for all credit products including credit derivatives and as Director at Credit Suisse First Boston also in Fixed Income Sales. She holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.

Ms. Andrews was an Executive Vice President at Chapdelaine Credit Partners where she was responsible for building out the loan business. Ms. Andrews specialized in distressed-loan trading at Bank of America Securities and held various analyst positions there prior to joining the trading desk. Ms. Andrews graduated from New York University with a double major in Economics and French Literature.
