SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In its latest addition to a growing number of corporate banking services, Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) today announced that its WellsOne® Commercial Card customers can manage their accounts and capture expenses with smartphones.
Through the CEO Mobile® service, WellsOne cardholders are now able to add out-of-pocket expenses, view charges, and check available credit – right on their smartphones. And WellsOne Commercial Card program administrators can view and edit credit limits and review declined transactions.
“For our customers who travel or are away from their desks a lot, mobile access is critical,” said Mary Mazzochi, senior vice president and manager of the Commercial Card product suite at Wells Fargo. “Now, commercial card administrators can stay on top of their programs anywhere, anytime using an office computer, a laptop, or a mobile device. Plus, business travelers can take advantage of the mobile service to record cash purchases as the transactions happen, saving time and improving the accuracy of expense reports.”
The WellsOne Commercial Card expense management tool – Commercial Card Expense Reporting (CCER) – puts program administrators in control of employee spending and offers greater convenience while traveling. Through its efficient electronic workflow, CCER better equips purchasing staff to negotiate with vendors and reduces the costs, time, and environmental impact of managing disbursement expenses. And with the availability of CCER through the CEO Mobile service, cardholders and program administrators can access their most critical functions anytime and virtually anywhere. The new WellsOne Commercial Card mobile service is just one of many capabilities Wells Fargo offers through the CEO Mobile service, which enables customers to monitor account activity and stay on top of cash management functions while at meetings, in airports, across town from their offices, or doing business around the globe. Wells Fargo introduced the CEO Mobile service – a streamlined version of its Commercial Electronic Office® (CEO®) portal – to a select group of customers in April 2007, and offered the service to all commercial customers in late 2007, becoming the only major U.S. financial services company to provide mobile banking services to commercial, corporate, and institutional customers.
Wells Fargo offers a CEO Mobile iPhone app, which can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store on an iPhone or from the CEO Mobile site, https://ceomobile.wf.com, which is accessible on all recent smartphone devices.
The CEO Mobile service delivers a growing array of services and reports. By enabling chief financial officers, treasurers, cash managers, and key decision makers to monitor account balances and complete critical, time-sensitive tasks via mobile devices, the CEO Mobile service increases efficiency and convenience for executives.
