CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aero Fulfillment Services, a national provider of fulfillment and marketing operations solutions, has created an entirely new position that is solely dedicated to quality assurance—a critical metric in performance. Aero is pleased to announce that they have selected David Glew to fill this important role.
“This position reflects our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and a focus on quality and process,” says John T. Gimpel, Aero President and COO. “David brings an incredible background and skill set to maximize quality and efficiency, which of course will translate into more benefits for our clients.”
Aero’s goal in creating the role of Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) was to make it even easier and more fluid to maintain that level of excellence. The QAM is responsible for maintaining Standard Operating Procedure documentation and auditing those standards in the facility. David will also interface with key customers during annual audits such as the P&G 19 Key Element certification process, manage the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) process, and direct company processes with a concentration on improving and reengineering to ISO 9000 certification (an international set of standards that help organizations ensure they meet the needs of customers and stakeholders).
David Glew was the perfect man for the job. He’s a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has also earned ITIL Foundation (v3) certification. But beyond his credentials, David is highly motivated, flexible, and has an uncanny ability to make connections between technical and functional arenas. This expertise was built throughout a host of positions in the IT space. David was a Lead Applications Developer for Fifth Third Bank’s IT Treasury Management, a Senior Software Engineer for LEXISNEXIS and Electronic Codes System and also served as a Senior Consultant/Account Manager for Keane, Inc.
With just a few months in the role to date, David is already demonstrating success in driving more efficiency into Aero’s quality assurance processes.
