IPTV: Efficient Communications for the USAF
LGS engineered, furnished, installed, and tested an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) solution serving a dozen Air Force installations across the United States. The solution was designed to meet the Air Combat Command (ACC) need for responsive, rich video content delivered to every ACC computer workstation and various common areas. The IPTV system supports pre-selected broadcast channels, three military channels, and both on-demand and streaming video. It also has the ability to broadcast emergency video messages. IPTV is a reliable, cost-effective, secure method of video content delivery.
